Frequently Asked Questions

General

What is NextGen Intern?

NextGen Intern is a non-profit organization that provides real-world leadership education and internship experiences. We offer college courses, high school programs, online self-paced learning, and corporate innovation programs — all powered by enterprise AI tools and The Lucid Way methodology.

Is this really a non-profit?

Yes. All revenue funds scholarships and program development. Corporate partnership revenue directly supports student access to the programs.

What makes this different from other leadership programs?

Two things: real tools and real products. Our courses integrate enterprise-grade AI and strategy tools (StratOS, LinkUpOS, COO Playbook, etc.), and graduates immediately enter a 3-month internship where they build a real product they own.

Programs

Who is the college course for?

College students, recent graduates, and professionals who want graduate-level leadership training. The 16-week course covers leadership, organizational efficiency, AI readiness, and real-world application through Fix Sprints.

Is there really a high school version?

Yes. The 8-week high school track is a simplified introduction to leadership and organizational thinking, designed for ambitious students who want a head start and a portfolio piece for college applications.

Can I do the online course at my own pace?

Absolutely. The online self-paced track covers the same curriculum as the college course, with video, text, and audio formats. Estimated 40-60 hours total.

Do I need to complete a course to qualify for the internship?

Yes. Complete any of our course programs (college, online, or self-paced) and you're eligible for the 3-month product build internship.

The Internship

What happens during the internship?

Three months, three phases. Month 1: Design (problem discovery, team formation, branding). Month 2: Build (two sprint cycles to ship an MVP). Month 3: Scale (growth execution, final presentation, product handoff). You own what you build.

Do I really own the product I build?

Yes. The product belongs to you and your team. We provide the framework, tools, and mentorship — you own the outcome.

What tools will I use?

StratOS for strategic deliberation, COO Playbook for execution planning, Level9 for team formation, LinkUpOS for branding, CommandOS for workflow automation, and LucidORG for alignment measurement.

For Universities & Companies

How does the university partnership work?

We provide a turnkey 16-week curriculum with all content, tools, and assessment frameworks. You integrate it into your semester, customize as needed, and your students get access to enterprise tools and the internship pipeline.

What is the corporate program?

An internal internship program that creates a rotating innovation team while developing future leaders. Choose from a 4-week Sprint, 12-week Lab, or ongoing Academic Partnership.

How much does it cost?

We offer non-profit pricing for all programs. Group discounts are available for universities and companies. Scholarships are available for individual students. Contact us for specific pricing.
